I really dug the movie Iron Man, and I thought I'd try to model Obadiah Stane. I really would love some great feedback from all you pro modelers out there. I am still fairly new to the 3D world, and, I have decided to specialize in modeling. Please critique my work, and help me get better!!! I used Zbrush and XSI for this bust.

This was the image I submited for the Design/Fusion competition. I've always thought that "magic" had a very captivating sense about it, and it intrigued me when I was young. Even though I knew it wasn't real, it gave a feeling of awe and shock when the trick was done. That's why I created this piece. It is mysterious, it is magical. I wanted the colors to give a mysterious feel as well. Hope you like it.

I used Softimage/XSI for the modeling, texturing, and lighting of the doors, and I composited the doors onto the nature shot with some added effects. Rendered with mental ray.
Uplift Universe Image: Alien vs. Toddler

This was the image I did for the Alien Relations Uplift Universe competition. The "alien relation" is the aliens being terrified of the innocent harmless toddler. Everything modeled in XSI and rendered with mental ray in XSI. Post work done in After effects. I oringinally used global illumination, but finally ended up with 3 lights without GI and final gathering. I've included some closeups of the original resolution of 2567x3636.

This is a 2.5D composition done entirely with Adobe After Effects 7.0. I was going for a very cold and dark kind of mood. I want the viewer of this piece to ponder why the man is standing in the street in the pouring rain looking up at the tavern. In my opinion the lightning and colors make this piece. Comments and critiques welcome, thanks.

Trial at Red Rock Cliff

This was my 3rd entry for the NVArt Competition. I modeled the Columned structure in XSI, and composed it onto the Cliff shot with AE. I blurred the foreground rocks and added some shadows and additional lighting. I only used one point light in XSI for the model. I also blurred the extreme background and added another model. Comments and critiques are requested to see what I need to do to make this piece better!
